The Blueswater band commissioned this film to capture their live performance during the The Spoonful Second Scoop in 2016, a four-day festival around the blues music that includes performances and a lot of dancing.

The idea behind the film is to focus on the performance of the band without taking away attention from the actual dancing that takes place. The production was based on previous conversations with the band while developing the concept and also depended on co-ordination with the whole team of The Spoonful including the sound and lights technicians on location. This was all essential due to the one-take nature of the film. The Spoonful Second Scoop took place at the charming Leith Community Centre in Edinburgh.
