The Brothers Gillespie. Golden One

The video showcases simultaneously the building process of the bass drum along side The Rhythm & Booze Project performing "Boom Boom" at Lagavulin Distillery. The Rhythm & Booze Project (aka Felipe Schrieberg and Paul Archibald) with the support of Lagavulin, assembled a small team of professionals in early 2019 to ensure that the drum was not just built, but also that it was playable and properly recorded. James Yates from Majetone Ind. put all the pieces together in less than 48 hours. Once the drum was finished, Jim Shemilt set up a whole recording system that would capture the full spectrum of sound coming from this unique bass drum.
